Virtual Volunteer Information Sessions are offered each month to answer your questions. Learn about Guardian ad Litem, the role of a volunteer, volunteer certification, and the importance of Changing a Child’s Story.

Roles of a Volunteer include:

-Visiting the child monthly and monitoring their safety and physical, emotional, and educational needs

-Assess any outstanding needs and/or services

-Attend court hearings and work with the assigned Guardian ad Litem Attorney and Child Advocate Manager

Volunteer training includes:

-30 hours of training that is divided into 3 phases- onboarding, online pre-service training, and field observations

-Direct field and other support from a Certified Child Advocate Manager
